Polythene Encapsulated Suspended Ceiling Pads
Our polythene encapsulated suspended ceiling pads are supplied for both thermal and acoustic applications, and are ideal products to use where there is the risk of migration of fibres from standard insulation product entering the surrounding environment.
Benefits include improved thermal and acoustic performance, along with making them a far safer product to handle and install.
We also offer our ceiling pads in a flame retardant variety encapsulated in FR Orange Polythene.
Typical thicknesses range from 25mm through to 250mm and standard format sizes are 600mm x 600mm and 600mm x 1200mm, however virtually any size can be manufactured as well as being supplied in roll form.
Our standard pads for thermal applications contain a medium density Glass Mineral Wool and for acoustic applications they contain a medium density Rock Mineral Wool, both types fully encapsulated in black polythene.
Certain products can also be supplied either loose in large clear polythene sacks, alternatively they can be supplied in a rolled and taped version supplied in twin wall cardboard boxes for ease of movement on site, or perhaps for further despatch.
